I have always had great imaginary abilities. I love writing fiction and when I’m thinking about the scene I’m working on I am able to superimpose that scene onto reality. I actually go through my day trying out different scenarios seeing, hearing, touching, even smelling my alernate reality while going about my day. I havn’t tried this yet but can’t wait to see how it goes.

I am rather new to pretty much everything that this website presents. I was wondering how possible it is to make a room where you can catalog memories into some sort of filing system where you can go back and examine them. If anyone has done this I was wondering how you were able to achieve it. Thanks.

Hi. I just Stumbled on this site last night, and I’m enjoying reading the articles.
I love this one cos I do already have something like this, I can’t even remember where I heard of the idea. One room that I would add, similar to Ulf’s, is a teaching room, which I imagine as a little computer room, that lets me access hidden ideas, either by effectively Googling it, or else calling up someone, real or imagined, on the screen, to talk to, to work out a problem. it is of course, only myself that I’m talking to, but if I imagine someone I know, it makes it easier to put another side to the problem, my mind at least ‘trying’ to see all sides. another suggestion I came across is a costume room, with an infinite wardrobe, so you can try on mental outfits, which I suppose is a kind of reframing, to see how you’d feel if say, you were a superhero, or a nurse, or something else that might be appropriate

Hi Luciano
I developed a tense approach to creativity after studying architecture & design where creativity was based on a problem to be solved, usually by a deadline & to exacting standards..since then I associated creativity with work that will be judged.

I will follow your advice by moving around more – because you are right, the details become less important then…I will also load ‘Zen Master’ software (Matrix style) per Ulfs post..that should do the trick!
